Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Staff Software Developer to architect and scale our core developer infrastructure, including CI pipelines and development environments. You will lead initiatives enabling thousands of engineers to code, test, and build quickly and safely, with a strong emphasis on reliability and efficiency.

This role offers high-visibility leadership in a fast-moving finance-tech environment, with in-person collaboration at our Toronto office.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing, scaling, and operating critical developer infrastructure or high-volume build/CI systems in production environments.
• Strong programming proficiency in Go or Python with reliable system software experience.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Architect the long-term technical strategy and roadmap for core developer infrastructure (CI, SCM, development environments).
• Build and maintain scalable infrastructure with focus on speed, safety, and reliability.
• Lead onboarding strategies and development environments to reduce time-to-first-commit.
• Collaborate with teams to standardize build/CI patterns and improve engineering standards.
• Provide mentorship and conduct design reviews to establish best practices.
