Job summary

Newmark in Chicago, IL is seeking a Senior Platform Architect to own the technical design of cross-team cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability initiatives. You will drive scalable, resilient cloud-native deployments across the Newmark platform footprint, including AI platforms and core enterprise systems.

You will lead architecture reviews, mentor engineers, and partner with product, security, and leadership to translate business strategy into scalable roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in infrastructure/software engineering, with demonstrated cloud infra and CI/CD leadership at scale.
• Expert-level in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD platforms; strong Kubernetes and cloud experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the technical architecture for cross-team infra initiatives across cloud, CI/CD, and observability.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-native infra and deployment pipelines across Newmark platforms including AI apps and core systems.
• Lead architecture reviews and provide guidance to multiple engineering teams; mentor senior engineers.
