Job summary

The South Carolina Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, invites applications for a Training Coordinator based in Summerville, SC. The role serves as main instructor for in-service training and new employee orientation.

You will update curricula, manage training records using TMS Therap, coordinate volunteer services, and support administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of training principles and practices.
• Knowledge of methods for formal and informal training.
• Knowledge of visual aids and development.
• Ability to conduct conferences and lead training groups.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships.
• Ability to analyze training needs and propose solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide In-Service Training and center-wide orientation.
• Review and update training curriculum and materials.
• Assist with Volunteer Services when needed.
• Maintain training records electronically and schedule courses in TMS.
• Perform administrative duties for Staff Development and Volunteer Services.
• Support staff trainings and annual requirements.
