Job summary

The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Coastal Regional Center in Summerville, SC, seeks a Direct Support Supervisor to guide DSP I/II staff and ensure quality care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

With a Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience, you will oversee documentation, safety, and treatment plans, and you may earn a $1,000 sign-on bonus plus shift differentials on

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 1 year experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing ICF-IID and related directives.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

Supervise Direct Support Professional I and II staff on a day-to-day basis.
Ensure ISP documentation is complete and monitor consumer safety and care.
Oversee Active Treatment implementation and monitoring of data sheets, ISP training, and GER; monitor Day Programs monthly.
Report significant events and suspected abuse per policy and procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
