Job summary

Ketch-Kansas-Elks-Training-Center-For-the-Handicapped in Wichita, KS, is seeking a Staff Development Trainer to lead direct staff training, handle preparation and follow-up, and assist with scheduling within a busy Human Resources team. This full-time role operates M-F 8a-4:30p and offers comprehensive benefits.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field, six months of adult-training experience, and strong attention to detail, organization, and written and verbal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Human Resources or related field.
• Six months of experience training adults in a work setting.
• Proficient in attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizing and time management skills.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Preferred knowledge or experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or ¼ of own body weight, whichever is less.

Responsibilities

• Direct training of staff, preparation and follow-up, monitoring expirations and assisting with scheduling.
• Participates fully as part of the Human Resources team in recruiting, interviewing, and assuring the hiring process is followed.
• M-F 8a-4:30p.
