Requirements for Behavior Trainer Specialist

• - Strong listening, communication, and relationship building skills
• - Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disabilities, neurodiverse challenges, mental health disabilities, other medical complexities, and/or co-occurring diagnosis.
• - Experience with verbal de-escalation strategies, setting boundaries, and working with individuals who exhibit aggressive behaviors is beneficial.
• - High school diploma or accredited GED.
• - Valid driver’s license and good driving record (less than four infractions/tickets)
• - Dependable transportation & proof of auto insurance
• - Good written and verbal communication skills
• - Must be able to lift 50 lbs or ¼ of own body weight, whichever is less
