Job summary

Spyglass Healthcare seeks a Director of Staff Development to lead onboarding, orientation, and ongoing staff training to ensure safe, compliant patient care. The role requires overseeing education programs, maintaining licenses and certifications, and coordinating mandatory activities across the facility in adherence to CA long-term care regulations.

Candidates must hold a valid RN or LVN license and have prior training development experience, with strong communication and professional demeanor

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and direct educational programs and on-the-job training.
• Maintain certifications, licenses and training records in compliance with laws.
• Ensure pre-employment screenings are completed as required.
• Collaborate with department leaders on policy updates and training.
• Coordinate calendars for in-services and mandatory activities.
• Adhere to safety and infection prevention policies and report incidents.
• Continuously improve training programs to stay compliant with regulations.
