Genesis HealthCare/Government? Red Rocks Care Center seeks a Nurse Educator in Gallup, NM with a focus on developing education programs and supervising orientation for new nursing staff.

The position reports to the Director of Nursing and participates in annual competency evaluations to ensure high-quality patient care. The organization offers a retention bonus of $10,000 and a comprehensive benefits package, including health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN license.
• Minimum three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience preferred
• Two years of clinical experience in long-term care nursing with one year as an educator preferred
• Excellence in clinical nursing skills required
• Experience in Gerontology preferred
• Training and/or experience in adult learning preferred
