DoorDash Labs is seeking a software engineer to own the data visualization applications for introspecting robot data. You will bridge sensors, logs, diagnostics, telemetry, and mission intel for a diverse user base across the Dot team.

You will architect systems with autonomy, define roadmaps, and execute with a focus on intuitive, practical, and delightful tools. The role emphasizes web technologies, 3D graphics, and high-performance browser capabilities to display complex robot data in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in full stack software development.
• Fluency with React and Typescript.
• Experience in 3D computer graphics.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and solving problems across the stack.
• Excel at working cross-functionally with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build tools that help users across autonomy, operations, product, and executive teams understand robot behavior both on-road and in simulation.
• Expand upon extensive web tooling for interaction with time series data, video playback, and 3D scene reconstruction.
• Maintain a robust C++ visualization framework for transforming robot data into informative and beautiful 2D and 3D web output.
• Develop a portfolio of data introspection capabilities to support an expanding fleet of next generation robots.
• Maintain a high bar for quality and take pride in your work!
