About the Role

As a Data Scientist, you will evaluate and improve Google's products. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and analysts on a wide range of problems.

You will work closely with executive engineers and product managers to deliver a roadmap aimed at integrating the latest GenAI model capabilities into Google Search, unlocking new use cases and ways for billions of users to interact with Google Search daily. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are role, level, and location-dependent, with individual pay influenced by work location, skills, experience, and education. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders across projects to identify and clarify business or product questions. Provide feedback to refine questions into analysis, evaluation metrics, or mathematical models.
• Design and evaluate models using custom data infrastructure or existing data models to mathematically express and solve problems with limited precedent.
• Gather information on business goals, priorities, organizational context, and data infrastructure to inform analysis.
• Own data gathering, extraction, and validation processes across sources using tools like SQL, R, and Python to ensure data quality and readiness for analysis.
