Job summary

Okta is seeking a Staff Data Analyst in the People Analytics team to design and deliver analytics solutions that impact workforce planning, organisational effectiveness, and employee experience. You will build predictive models, scalable dashboards, and explore AI-enabled insights in collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in People Analytics, HR Analytics, or related analytics.
• Strong data visualization and reporting skills with data warehousing and SQL querying.
• Experience with Tableau, Snowflake, Excel, and enterprise HR platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report on the full employee lifecycle with dashboards and reports.
• Translate business questions into analytical approaches and deliver executive-ready insights.
• Design and maintain predictive analytics models for attrition, forecasting, and talent pipeline.
• Apply statistical methods to solve workforce challenges and guide decisions.
• Analyze employee feedback using NLP to identify themes and insights.
• Prototype generative AI use cases to automate narratives and trend summaries.
