Job summary

Okta in Bellevue, WA is hiring a Staff Data Analyst in People Analytics to lead the design and delivery of analytics solutions that influence workforce planning, effectiveness, and employee experience. You’ll build predictive models, scalable dashboards, and apply emerging AI technologies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You’ll translate business questions into analytical approaches, ensure data quality, and present insights to executives.

Qualifications

7+ years in People Analytics or related analytics field.
Advanced skills in data visualization, warehousing, Excel, and SQL.
Experience with direct tech stack: Tableau, Snowflake, Excel, SQL, Workday, ServiceNow, Greenhouse.

Responsibilities

Analyze the entire employee lifecycle and build dashboards covering hiring, attrition, engagement, performance, promotions, compensation, headcount, and organizational health.
Partner with People Team and stakeholders to translate business questions into analytics and deliver executive-ready insights.
Design and maintain predictive analytics models for attrition, forecasting, lifecycle analysis, and talent pipeline analytics.
Apply regression, clustering, forecasting, survival analysis, and segmentation to address workforce challenges.
Analyze employee feedback using NLP to identify themes and insights.
Prototype generative AI use cases to automate narrative reporting while ensuring governance.
