Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to lead technical direction for data products and ML systems. You will bridge business strategy and production-ready ML, architect scalable frameworks, and guide teams to deliver measurable value.

You will own model lifecycle, mentor senior data scientists, and collaborate across Engineering, Product, and Business to ensure impact aligns with core metrics. Remote-friendly, full-time role in the US.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Science or ML Engineering.
• Proficient in Python and SQL; experienced with the Python stack (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and one major ML framework (PyTorch or XGBoost/LightGBM).
• Experience deploying ML products in cloud production environments (AWS or GCP).
• Ability to translate business needs into concrete technical roadmaps and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end ML systems and foundations for scalable production.
• Translate business questions into technical roadmaps and deliver actionable results.
• Lead deployment of ML products with reliability and maintainability in production.
