Baton Corporation Ltd in New York is hiring a Staff Data Scientist in Marketing Science to own the mathematics behind paid growth. You will design causal models, run experiments, and optimize a multi-million-dollar budget across Google, Meta, Apple, OpenAI ads, TikTok and X.

Your job is to answer one question continuously: where should the next $1 million go to generate the most profit, and how confident are we?

Qualifications

• Advanced quantitative training required; PhD or MSc depth preferred.
• Proven hands-on experience building marketing mix models.
• Experience with causal inference and experimentation.
• Ability to translate model outputs into actionable budget decisions.

Responsibilities

• Build marketing measurement system with Bayesian MMM and uncertainty.
• Design geo-experiments, holdouts, and synthetic-control studies.
• Calibrate budget using marginal ROAS and CAC by channel.
• Develop LTV, retention and payback models tied to activation.
• Measure channels where lift tooling is thin or missing.
• Set test roadmaps with the Head of Paid Acquisition & Performance Marketing.
