Job summary

Fetch seeks a Staff Data Scientist to lead a small team and own the data products behind our off-platform advertising capabilities. You will architect models for audiences, measurement, and data feeds, and guide production-grade systems with a focus on causal inference and reliable outcomes.

You will mentor peers, collaborate with product, platform, and GTM teams, and drive strategic technical decisions that scale Fetch’s data products across partners and customers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data science or applied statistics with 3+ years in ads platform capabilities.
• Strong stats foundation with causal inference and advertising measurement expertise.
• Hands-on in predictive modeling, audiences, and measurement systems.
• Experience taking models to production with engineering collaboration.
• Proven ability to mentor data scientists and set technical direction.
• Proficient with Python, SQL, Snowflake, and dbt in modern analytics stacks.
• Clear track record influencing senior leadership and product partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain complex methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small data science team as technical lead, ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Set direction across audiences, measurement, and data feeds with product/engineering.
• Architect and build models and systems behind data products.
• Mentor data scientists in causal inference and predictive modeling.
• Develop audience quality measures and differentiate Fetch in the market.
• Extend models to in-product use cases and high-value user acquisition.
• Own measurement frameworks linking ad exposure to verified conversions.
• Drive causal inference and experimental design to prove outcomes.
