Job summary

Fetch is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to lead company-wide measurement, causality, and strategic modeling. You will define MAU × ARPU metrics, set standards for evidence, and partner with product, growth, and finance to guide executive decisions.

You will own frameworks for elasticity, MMM, forecasting, and value curves, shaping FetchGPT and leadership reporting across the organization. This is a full-time role, remote within the United States.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data science, economics, statistics, or applied research at staff or principal scope.
• Deep expertise in causal inference, experimental design, and observational analysis with ownership of high-stakes decisions.
• Experience defining and owning company-level measurement frameworks, canonical metrics, or strategic models.
• Proven ability to influence executive decision-making and communicate trade-offs to senior leaders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Define and own company-level measurement framework anchored in MAU × ARPU.
• Establish decision frameworks for pricing, incentives, and value trade-offs.
• Set standards for evidence quality, uncertainty, and confidence in decisions.
• Define the causal reasoning model used across product, growth, marketing, and finance.
• Own the scientific capability roadmap including elasticity, value curves, MMM, and forecasting.
• Own cross-company models driving executive decisions and planning.
