Fetch is entering its AI-first era, and we're seeking a Senior Software Engineer (P4) to join our Data Platform team. You'll architect and evolve data pipelines, access governance, and delivery infrastructure powering Fetch's data products.

You'll own complex problems and drive scalable, reliable solutions with cross-functional partners. You’ll mentor others, raise the bar on quality, and shape technical direction while collaborating with Product, TPM, and partner teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with growing ownership.
• Strong backend engineering background building reliable, scalable systems.
• Experience with data pipelines, integrations, or delivery infrastructure is a plus.
• Ability to own ambiguous technical problems and drive solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own technical problems and define projects to address systemic issues.
• Drive reliability and quality through code reviews and proactive improvements.
• Lead multi-system initiatives spanning projects or teams.
• Improve team efficiency with new tools and processes.
• Shape technical direction and communicate strategy to stakeholders.
• Build trust by collaborating with Product, TPM, and partner teams.
• Mentor and grow peers and junior engineers.
