Job summary

Realtor.com is seeking a Staff Data Quality Engineer to own the integrity, scalability, and reliability of our lead management systems. You will architect and implement strategies, dashboards, and automated validation tools to ensure data fidelity across the end-to-end lead funnel.

You’ll lead cross-functional teams, define quality standards, and drive automated, self-healing solutions that improve customer experiences and system performance in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data quality, or software engineering with a focus on performance and distributed data architecture.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record as a technical leader diagnosing and resolving complex, large-scale system issues.
• Advanced SQL mastery and deep experience with modern data stack architectures and visualization tools.
• Strong Python or scripting for building automated data validation frameworks and internal tooling.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale enterprise dashboards and automated alerting for the end-to-end lead journey.
• Own data quality lifecycle by architecting automated validation tools, data contracts, and governance guardrails.
• Identify and bridge operational and architectural gaps in the lead funnel and drive long-term solutions.
• Lead technical strategy and roadmaps for customer success and system scalability.
• Mentor data engineers and enforce data contracts, SLAs, and best practices across the ecosystem.
