Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Staff Engineer specialized in data platforms and stream processing. You will work with a 6-8 person team on a multi-regional datastore strategy, building scalable data flow and communication models.

Expect involvement in architecture decisions, on-call rotations, and cross-team collaboration to accelerate delivery. You should bring 15+ years in software/infrastructure engineering, experience with distributed datastores and stream tools, and strong Go/Python capabilities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong data modeling and data management guidelines.
• Familiar with distributed datastores and stream processing tools.
• Experience designing/operating large-scale systems.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes for event-driven/stateful orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical decisions, mentor engineers, and grow team capability.
• Champion event-driven architecture across the org and build consensus.
• Design platform to deliver data with managed solutions for teams.
• Develop a scalable stream processing architecture for reliability.
• Improve data platform performance, security, reliability, and on-call readiness.
• Establish data access/storage guardrails and compliance with standards.
