Job summary

CoreWeave is hiring a Staff Engineer with a specialization in data platforms and stream processing. You will join a multi-regional datastore initiative and work with a team of 6-8 engineers to build scalable data infra.

You’ll drive technical decisions, champion event-driven architectures, and design platforms that deliver data to product teams with reliability and security at the forefront. The role offers a competitive base salary and a broad benefits package in the US.

Qualifications

• Extensive software/infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong data platform design and data management skills.
• Experience with distributed datastores and streaming systems.
• Ability to design scalable, reliable data workflows and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical decision-making to accelerate delivery and mentor engineers.
• Champion event-driven architecture adoption and build organizational consensus.
• Identify and develop applications for the organization’s data assets.
• Design and implement platforms to deliver data to teams with managed solutions.
• Develop a streaming processing architecture for scalability and reliability.
• Improve performance, security, and reliability of data platforms and services; participate in on-call rotations.
• Establish guidelines and guard rails for data access and storage.
• Ensure compliance with data protection standards.
