Job summary

Luxurypresence is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to strengthen our MLS data platform squad. You will build robust data pipelines and backend services powering high-quality MLS data across 400+ feeds, property discovery, and AI-powered features. Work sits at the intersection of backend, data infrastructure, and AI-powered products.

You will lead architectural decisions for streaming/batch pipelines and embrace observability, scalability, and cost efficiency across cloud-native data systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including owning production systems end-to-end.
• Experience with data-intensive or distributed systems at scale (high volume, high availability).
• Senior or staff/lead level with influence on architecture and technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end MLS/property data architecture including streaming and batch pipelines, microservices, storage, and APIs.
• Design event-driven, Kafka-based data flows for ingestion, enrichment, recommendations, and AI use cases.
• Lead design reviews, set engineering practices, and balance reliability, performance, and cost trade-offs.
