CVS Health is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to lead our Azure Databricks platform. You will own architecture, implementation, and operations, ensuring reliability, performance, and security while guiding the platform's evolution to meet business needs.

You will mentor two platform engineers, collaborate with data teams across healthcare initiatives, and drive best practices for scalable data processing in a cloud-first environment.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of hands-on data platform engineering in cloud environments.
• Deep experience with Azure Databricks administration, clustering, and job orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of Delta Lake and Unity Catalog for data governance.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee operational health of the Azure Databricks platform and lead incident response.
• Define roadmap and drive adoption of features within the Databricks environment (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog).
• Enforce data security and governance policies across the data platform.
• Optimize performance and costs of Databricks workloads and clusters.
• Develop and maintain IaC and CI/CD pipelines for provisioning and managing Databricks workspaces.
• Mentor and guide platform engineers and data teams.
• Collaborate with security, networking, and infra teams to ensure a secure platform.
• Lead a team of 2 platform engineers.
