Courtyard is hiring a Staff Data Engineer to own the data foundation our pricing runs on. We price and buy back assets in real time off a fragmented external market, and turning that into something a model can safely consume is the data problem here.

You’ll be the senior-most data engineering voice in a lean data org — owning architecture and standards, not working a ticket queue. You’ll own external market data ingestion end to end, establish the canonical item model and entity resolution, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering with production pipeline ownership.
• Experience taming high-volume external data with schema drift.
• Proficient in SQL and Python; production dbt with tests.
• Strong dimensional modeling including SCD Type 2 and late-arriving data.

Responsabilités

• Ingest external market data end-to-end, normalize and load into the data warehouse.
• Own the canonical item model and entity resolution across records.
• Build monitoring and tests to catch gaps before stakeholders notice.
• Design warehouse schemas and dbt models across marketplace, vault, payments, and events.
