Stripe is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to lead the Product and Risk Data Engineering team, building large-scale data pipelines and services. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product teams, and help design robust data warehouses powering analytics across Stripe.

You will work with cutting-edge tools and AI/LLM approaches to maintain high data quality, reliability, and scalability in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• This is a Staff-level role with 10+ years of experience building and operating data systems.
• Strong background in data pipelines and distributed data frameworks; SQL expertise.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the outcomes for a team of ambitious engineers and mentor them.
• Deliver scalable data pipelines focusing on reliability and efficiency.
