Qualifications

• Staff-level role — typically 10+ years building and operating data systems, pipelines, warehouses, infrastructure, and leading teams
• Strong engineering background and passion for data with experience writing/debugging data pipelines in a distributed framework
• Analytical mindset to dive into data inconsistencies and fix deep-rooted quality issues
• Knowledge of a backend language (Scala, Java, or Go) and strong SQL experience
• Extreme customer focus, partnering with product leaders and Stripe engineers to understand use cases
• Effective cross-functional collaboration with clear communication and decisive trade-offs
• Thrive with autonomy in ambiguous environments
