Self Financial is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to drive data-driven outcomes and mentor teammates. You will lead data pipeline development, modeling, and schema design within Self Financial’s Data Environment, supporting Analytics, Machine Learning, and BI teams.

You will collaborate with Product Management to translate strategy into data projects, design architectures, and ensure data quality and lifecycle management across large datasets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in database development and data analytics.
• Design and implement Data Warehouse/Data Lake models (Kimball).
• Leadership responsibilities and accountability for team results.
• Experience with ETL/ELT on large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the data pipeline, modeling, and schemas for BI and analytics.
• Translate product strategy into actionable data projects with PM collaboration.
• Design architecture, analysis, planning and project breakdown.
• Maintain data lifecycle and quality standards.
