Job summary

SoFi is seeking a Data Analyst for the CTO Business Operations team. You will own data pipelines, Workday plays, and resource reporting for ~2,000+ people across Engineering and Product. Lead automation, live APIs, and self-serve dashboards to support executive decision-making.

You will work with SQL, Python, and Google Sheets, ensuring data governance and actionable insights for quarterly headcount, capacity planning, and capitalization workflows.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, technical business operations, or data analysis.
• Strong ability to ingest, clean, transform, and reconcile multi-source datasets using SQL, Python, and spreadsheets.
• Hands-on experience with Workday data, org hierarchies, and HRIS-to-planning reconciliations.
• Experience building internal tools, dashboards, and automated workflows for executives.

Responsibilities

• Own data pipelines and resource reporting for ~2,000+ people across Engineering, Product, and Design.
• Evolve reporting tooling toward automated Workday API ingestion and self-serve leader workflows.
• Build automated data models, scripts, and validation checks; ensure data quality and governance.
• Support headcount, contingent workers, and capacity planning with scenario models and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with CTO Ops, People Partners, HRIS, and Finance to align staffing and capacity data.
