Job summary

SoFi in San Francisco is seeking a senior data/analytics engineer to design and operate data pipelines, reports, and tooling for the CTO Business Operations group.

You'll ingest multi-source data, build automated workflows using SQL, Python, and Google Sheets, and partner with HRIS, Talent Acquisition, and Finance to ensure data quality and governance. Remote-friendly hybrid work and cross-functional collaboration are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics roles.
• Strong SQL, Python, and spreadsheet skills for data modeling.
• Hands-on Workday data experience and reporting capabilities.
• Experience with AI tooling to accelerate pipeline development.

Responsibilities

• Own internal org and squad resource reporting for ~2,000+ people across Engineering, Product, and Design.
• Develop automated data pipelines and reports across HRIS and related systems.
• Improve resource tooling with Workday API ingestion and interactive seat management.
• Create dashboards and operating materials for CTO leadership.
