Job summary

SoFi is seeking a Data Analyst for the CTO Business Operations team to own data engineering, transforms, and reporting for headcount and org-wide resource reporting across Technology and Product (~2,000+ people).

You will automate Workday data pipelines, evolve reporting tools with live API integration, and build dashboards for executives. Strong SQL, Python, and data governance are essential in fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years experience in data engineering, analytics, or related operations.
• Strong data engineering foundations with SQL, Python, and spreadsheets.
• Experience with Workday data, HRIS-to-planning reconciliations, API integrations.
• Ability to translate complex data into operational metrics and dashboards.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/DS/Engineering/IS/Finance/Economics.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve internal org and squad resource reporting for ~2,000+ people.
• Develop automated Workday API ingestion and interactive seat management.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, Workday report transforms, and cross-system reconciliations.
• Manage operating calendars, leadership forums, and planning cycles.
• Partner with CTO Ops, HRIS, Finance to align staffing and capacity data.
