Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Staff Cybersecurity Analyst to serve as a primary ISSE and domain expert in system hardening, RMF compliance, and security architecture. Located in Roy, UT, this role supports the Sentinel program and requires deep expertise in translating NIST SP 800-53 controls into scalable baselines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 12 years of relevant experience or Master’s with 10 years or PhD with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance at time of application.
• Current IAM Level III or IASAE Level II/III certification (e.g., CISSP, CASP+).
• Experience with NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, RMF lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and tailoring of security controls across complex architectures.
• Define and enforce Organization-Defined Parameters for AO and SCA risk tolerances.
• Architect and implement system hardening baselines across Windows, Linux, storage, virtualization, and cloud.
• Lead ST&E planning, POA&M management, BoE compilation, and ATO packages.
