Northrop Grumman in Roy, Utah seeks a Staff Systems Engineer to lead Network Risk & Compliance for the Sentinel program. The role requires Top Secret clearance and will focus on RMF, network architecture, and security documentation across program networks.

The candidate will coordinate with NSI teams, develop handling plans, and participate in governance and program reviews to ensure secure, scalable network solutions for DoD applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with extensive experience in networked systems.
• US citizenship with active DoD Top Secret clearance.
• FISMA/DFARS familiarity and STIG compliance experience.
• Experience with security assessments and RMF.
• Experience documenting network architecture and security plans.
• Experience coordinating ATOs/SSAAs and RMF tasks.
• DoD cybersecurity certifications (CISSP/GSEC/CDP).
• Design/architect/deploy complex network infrastructures.
• Experience with SysML/UML in modeling tools.
• Strong requirements management and program execution skills.
• Knowledge of DoD routing/switching platforms and NIST 800-53.

Responsibilities

• Drive networking risk, issues, and opportunities across the NSI team.
• Implement RMF across the network and track open tasks.
• Coordinate ATOs and ensure security requirements compliance.
• Write SSPs, conduct STIGs, and manage SAR closures.
• Provide network compliance SME inputs program-wide and collaborate with teams.
• Develop and maintain technical network documentation and processes.
• Support program lifecycle from concept to disposal.
