Job summary

Harvey is seeking its first Content Designer to shape how users understand, interact with, and trust our product. You’ll lead content design across interfaces and AI responses, defining terminology and interaction patterns that scale with the product.

Work closely with product designers, engineers, PMs, and AI researchers to bring clarity and consistency to the Harvey ecosystem. You will lay foundations for our content practice and develop tools and guidelines that help teams apply content

Qualifications

• 8+ years (Staff) in content design, UX writing, or content strategy with portfolio.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear language for expert audiences.
• Deep understanding of voice, tone, and content systems.
• Design AI experiences and use AI-assisted tools to scale content quality.
• Move between content details and broader strategy, building a content practice at pace.
• Articulate system decisions and tradeoffs to designers, engineers, and cross-functional partners.
• Strong opinions, loosely held; comfortable challenging conventions as the discipline evolves.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous problem spaces and bringing structure where it doesn't yet exist.
• Excellent storytelling to articulate content decisions and rationale.

Responsibilities

• Define Harvey's voice, tone, and content principles across interfaces and AI responses.
• Lead content design of key experiences, from initial concept through polished execution.
• Develop AI-assisted tools and guidance that help teams apply content standards as they build.
• Champion a high design bar, helping the team make thoughtful, intentional decisions at every step.
