Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to define the technical vision for the next-gen GPU/CPU host instance lifecycle and compute control plane. You will bridge high-level distributed systems with semiconductor hardware to enable scalable cloud provisioning in data-centers.

Lead engineers across teams, shape security and lifecycle strategies, and work with customers to translate requirements into concrete deliverables.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in compute control plane/distributed systems for data-centers.
• Deep expertise in durable execution models and cloud provisioning.
• Experience leading large-scale semiconductor hardware enablement.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Rust, Python or Go.
• Background in BIOS/firmware, Linux kernel, and DPU integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a highly available host and instance lifecycle control plane.
• Guide decisions on semiconductor architecture, BIOS, boot methods, and DPU use.
• Shape multi-tenant security models for the compute platform.
• Provide technical leadership across teams and drive infrastructure roadmaps.
• Collaborate with product and data center teams to translate requirements into scalable capabilities.
• Translate customer requirements into concrete engineering deliverables.
