Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to define the technical vision for GPU/CPU host lifecycle and the compute control plane at scale. You will provide hands-on leadership, guide architecture decisions, and drive multi-team initiatives to deliver reliable, enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience building compute control planes and distributed systems for large-scale, heterogeneous compute platforms.
• Deep expertise in durable execution models and cloud service provisioning.
• Experience leading multi-team initiatives and delivering enterprise-grade SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing a highly available GPU/CPU host lifecycle control plane.
• Guiding decisions on BIOS/firmware, boot methodologies, and DPU utilization to optimize reliability.
• Lead multi-tenant security design and ensure robust infrastructure practices.
• Mentor senior engineers and coordinate across product and data-center teams.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable infrastructure capabilities and roadmaps.
• Set engineering standards and lead design reviews for mission-critical cloud software.
