Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer (DevOps) to own security tooling and CI/CD in a cloud-based environment based in Westminster or Longmont, CO. You will collaborate with Information Assurance and DevOps to ensure security is designed in from the start and maintained throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires a U.S. citizen with a SECRET clearance and DoDD 8140 certification, plus 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain required clearance.
• DoDD 8140/CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
• Willingness to work in a secure environment, with on-call/on-site support as needed.
• 5 years of DevOps, software, or infrastructure engineering experience; degree substitution rules apply.
• Ability to learn and use a wide variety of open-source technologies.
• Cloud service experience.
• Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes or equivalent technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain security applications/services in a CI/CD cloud environment.
• Troubleshoot network, pipeline, and infrastructure issues related to security services.
• Build, maintain and monitor configuration of security tools.
• Develop effective security monitoring, alerting and metrics from logs and data collectors.
• Serve as a conduit between security-focused and development-focused teams.
• Provide configuration and vulnerability management support for production apps and custom code.
