Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer (DevOps) to own security applications and security-infrastructures within CI/CD pipelines. The role requires US citizenship, active SECRET clearance with potential Top Secret/SCI access, and strong experience in DevOps and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with active SECRET clearance and ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI with polygraph after SCI access.
• CompTIA Security+ or DoDD 8140 certification.
• 5 years of DevOps, software, or infrastructure engineering experience; bachelor’s degree required (4 additional years may substitute).
• Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes or equivalent technologies.
• Ability to rapidly learn a wide variety of open-source technologies.
• Cloud service experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain security applications/services in a cloud-based CI/CD environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network, pipeline, and infrastructure issues related to security services.
• Build, maintain, and monitor configuration of security tools.
• Develop effective security monitoring, alerting, and metrics from log aggregators.
• Provide collaboration between security-focused and development-focused teams.
• Provide configuration and vulnerability management support for production applications and custom code.
