Job summary

Liberty Personnel, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer (DevOps) in Westminster, CO to own the security pipeline in a cloud-first, CI/CD environment. You will integrate security into infrastructure and automation, turning logs and metrics into actionable security posture.

Join a team that collaborates with IA and DevOps to deploy secure cloud services, maintain monitoring, and drive vulnerability management across production apps and infrastructure. A SECRET clearance is required.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with SECRET clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
• CompTIA Security+ or other DoDD 8140 certification.
• 5 years of DevOps, software, or infrastructure engineering experience and a Bachelor s degree (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree).
• Cloud service experience.
• Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes (K8S) or equivalent technologies.
• Ability to quickly learn and use a wide variety of open-source technologies.
• Willingness to work 90% or as needed in a secure environment.
• Willingness to provide some on-call or after-hours onsite support.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining multiple security applications and services in a cloud-based environment.
• Operating within CI/CD practices to embed security into release and deployment workflows.
• Troubleshooting and resolving network, pipeline, and infrastructure issues related to security services.
• Building, maintaining, and monitoring configuration of security tools.
• Developing effective security monitoring, alerting, and metrics from log aggregators and data collectors.
• Acting as a collaborative conduit between security-focused and development-focused teams.
• Providing configuration management support for production applications and custom code.
• Delivering vulnerability management support across applications and infrastructure.
