Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant cloud infrastructure and cloud networking experience.
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development.
• Experience building and operating large-scale systems.
• Experience leading a team of engineers and cross-team collaboration.
• Proficiency in C++, Go, Python or similar statically-typed languages.
• Experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native proxies (Envoy).

Responsibilities

• Build the software underpinning the Confluent Cloud network data plane platform.
• Architect, design, develop and operationalize high-performance, scalable systems.
