Job summary

BECU is seeking a Staff Operations Engineer – Cloud Networking to design and optimize hybrid Azure networking, automate infrastructure, and lead engineering excellence across secure cloud environments.

You will mentor engineers, build scalable networking solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical outcomes with business goals. Remote options available for eligible locations within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of related experience required, including Azure and cloud infrastructure environments.
• Experience in two or more disciplines with emphasis on Cloud Computing and Infrastructure Services.
• Advanced experience with scripting, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud automation.

Responsibilities

• Design hybrid infrastructure including Azure networking solutions (hub/spoke, Virtual WAN, VPN, ExpressRoute).
• Guide teams on Azure networking technologies (VNets, DNS, routing, hybrid connectivity).
• Define architecture standards and scalable cloud-native networking architectures.
