Job summary

BECU is seeking a Staff Operations Engineer – Cloud Networking to advance our hybrid cloud networking across Azure. You will own design, automation, and secure deployment of networked platforms powering internal and customer experiences.

Bring 7+ years in cloud infrastructure with Azure, expertise in IaC (Terraform), scripting, and CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). This role offers remote/hybrid options and opportunities to lead strategic engineering initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Minimum 7 years in cloud infrastructure with Azure.
• Experience in two or more disciplines: cloud computing, IT security, automation.
• Strong communication of complex cloud concepts to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design hybrid cloud infrastructure using Azure networking (hub/spoke, VWAN, ExpressRoute).
• Lead IaC and automation initiatives (Terraform, scripting).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Mentor engineers and guide cloud networking strategy.
• Ensure security controls and governance are integrated into designs.
