Job summary

FOX News Channel is seeking a Staff Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure for video workflows across AWS and Google Cloud Platform. You will drive automation, security, cost optimization, and hybrid networking, supporting broadcast delivery for events and daily operations.

You will lead cloud deployment pipelines, collaborate with architecture teams, and advocate best practices in infrastructure as code, monitoring, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of AWS and GCP including security, networking, IAM, authentication protocols, account management and application services.
• Proven experience with dynamic scaling using containers and/or serverless approaches for high availability and reliability.
• Hands-on with at least 2 programming languages (Python, Java, C++, etc.) and IaC tooling like Terragrunt or Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cloud solutions on AWS and GCP platforms, including networking, security, storage, compute, and authentication infrastructure.
• Serve as project execution leader—estimate effort, break down tasks, and mentor junior engineers to deliver on time and budget.
• Collaborate with architecture leaders to design cloud solutions addressing diverse business needs while managing security risks.
