CVS Health is seeking a Staff Cloud Automation Engineer in Hartford to lead the design, build, and scaling of enterprise cloud platforms. You will advance IaC capabilities enabling thousands of engineers to provision and govern infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, and private clouds.

Ideal candidates bring deep cloud, automation, and distributed systems experience, with a focus on developer productivity, governance, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Seven plus years delivering cloud engineering or platform engineering in large-scale enterprises.
• Experience across AWS, Azure and/or GCP with cloud-native platforms and enterprise infrastructure.
• Five plus years designing and implementing IaC solutions using Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Ansible.
• Five plus years building software or platform services using Go, TypeScript, Python, Node.js, or similar.
• Three plus years leading CI/CD, GitOps, cloud governance, policy-as-code, observability and reliability practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate IaC platforms automating provisioning, governance, and lifecycle across cloud environments.
• Develop cloud-native platform capabilities including Terraform provisioning services and AI-powered experiences.
• Engineer scalable software, automation frameworks, APIs, and platform services using Kubernetes, Terraform, and related tools.
• Lead platform architecture and modernization while mentoring engineers in reliability, security, governance, and developer productivity.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, observable, and highly automated platform solutions.
