Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, Robotics Engineering (Master’s/PhD preferred).
• 2–3 years of hands‑on orthopaedic space experience in R&D, clinical or field support, or surgical robotics/navigation.
• Experience with surgical robotics and biomechanics.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical reasoning, and decision‑making skills.
• 7+ years in medical device R&D with cross‑functional leadership and project management.

Aufgaben

• Contribute clinical and technical expertise to ideation and early evaluation of design concepts.
• Support feasibility assessment and prototype development aligned with clinical needs and regulatory pathways.
• Prepare and deliver prototype demonstrations for stakeholders and partners.
• Collaborate with teams to define patient journey and product maps; drive clinical and operational needs.
• Lead clinical hazard analyses and risk maps to define project scope and timelines.
• Stay informed on Computer Assisted Orthopedic Surgery trends and navigated devices.
• Translate insights into actionable goals and guide prototype development for competitive advantage.
• Identify use errors and hazardous situations in clinical contexts and inform system design.
• Collaborate with quality, systems and human factors engineering for preclinical, formative and validation studies.
