Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Virtual Design & Data Solutions Staff Civil Engineering Technician to assist with site development planning, grading, drainage, and utility layouts for complex infrastructure projects. You will use industry-standard tools such as Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley MicroStation, creating and modifying technical deliverables under supervision.

Hybrid work options may be offered after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Drafting/Engineering Design
• Associate or Bachelor's in Drafting/Engineering Design Tech preferred
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience

Responsibilities

• Create and modify site layouts, grading designs, and utility layouts using CAD/BIM tools.
• Support engineering and design teams to develop deliverables with accuracy and consistency.
• Review inputs and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and BV policies.
• Coordinate with design groups and field teams to exchange project information.
