Job summary

Pennoni is seeking an experienced Staff Engineer to join our team in Haddon Heights, NJ. The position is full-time and direct, working on a variety of private and public site development projects across multiple markets.

The role emphasizes zoning interpretation, design of site layout, stormwater management, and coordination with regulatory agencies while mentoring junior staff and managing client relationships. Target salary is $85K–$125K per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering-oriented discipline (preferably Civil).
• 4+ years of professional experience working in Engineering, preferably with land development projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform zoning interpretation and prepare feasibility studies, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Design and detail of site layout, grading, roadway, and utilities.
• Contribute to stormwater management design with H&H modeling and Erosion and Sediment Control planning.
• Engage with regulatory agencies and manage project budgets and client interfaces.
• Mentor junior staff and provide quality control of staff design and reports.
