We are currently looking for Staff Civil Engineers to support critical infrastructure design and construction across California. Our projects include transportation facilities (structures, roadways, rail, airports), water conveyance facilities (levees, canals, flumes, pipelines), dams, bridges, stream restoration and everything else to help solve California’s critical infrastructure challenges. This is an opportunity to work directly with civil, geotechnical, and structural designers, as well as other disciplines, to implement creative and complete civil design solutions.
As a Staff Civil Engineer, you will perform engineering calculations, technical studies, and prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates (PS&Es) for a wide variety of projects, including new dams, dams and spillway rehabilitation, levees, outlet facilities (gates, valves, and piping), culverts and outfalls, open channels, canals and other water conveyance hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, and dam inspections. Occasional field work, which may comprise multi-day assignments, is expected.
This is a hybrid position and you must be able to commute to our Irvine, CA office as needed. Our Irvine office is adjacent to two major freeways (5 and 405) and is within walking distance to shopping centers, dining, and an Irvine iShuttle bus stop.
