Solomon Page is recruiting for a Staff Backend Software Engineer to join a FinTech client in New York City. You will help build scalable data platforms, low-latency services, and robust distributed systems for enterprise-scale needs.

Lead architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Product, Data Engineering, and DevOps to deliver reliable platform capabilities in a hybrid work environment with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend development in large-scale production environments.
• Expert-level Python and modern backend development practices.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, fault tolerance, and SOA.
• Experience building data platforms, data pipelines, or data-intensive applications for enterprise-scale environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale backend services powering data onboarding and integration workflows.
