Job summary

Lead, a fintech building banking infrastructure, is seeking a senior backend engineer to design, build and maintain large-scale backend systems with a focus on performance and reliability.

You will collaborate with product managers and stakeholders across the company to implement new features that address product goals and customer needs, mentor engineers, and grow the technical team in a fast-moving, cloud-native environment (AWS).

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience shipping successful projects
• Cloud-native, AWS preferred
• Strong command of Go and/or Java
• Experience with large-scale systems and maintaining high-quality code
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to mentor junior engineers
• Ability to collaborate and align stakeholders across teams
• Curious, humble and eager to learn

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain large-scale backend systems with a focus on performance and reliability
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to implement new features for product goals and customer needs
• Mentor engineers and contribute to growing the technical team
• Deliver high-quality, scalable systems on schedule
• Prioritize and develop systems from the ground up in a cloud-native environment
