Job summary

SentinelOne, Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Agent Platform to secure billions of events daily across Windows, Linux, and macOS. You will own high-scale services handling policy and command distribution for millions of agents worldwide.

You will drive incident response, perform root-cause analysis, and partner across teams to improve reliability and operability. Strong Go/Python skills and cloud/Kubernetes experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional backend software engineering experience with deep expertise in Go or Python.
• Experience with messaging systems and data platforms such as Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, Cassandra, ClickHouse, or similar technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems with an emphasis on reliability and observability.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to influence technical direction across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response and systematic root-cause analysis across the Agent Platform.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and operate high-throughput distributed services.
• Improve platform reliability, scalability and operability through engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to drive cross-service improvements.
