Unity is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead Offer Delivery, the backend service that decides which offers a player sees and when. You will define architecture, drive delivery, and coordinate with auctions, ML, and platform teams to deliver value at scale.

You will mentor engineers, shape technical standards, and collaborate across teams to ensure reliability and performance in a high-throughput environment powering millions of mobile app developers and players.

Qualifications

• Track record of owning a significant backend system.
• Design and ship large-scale, highly available, latency-sensitive distributed services.
• Strong proficiency in Go; working knowledge of gRPC.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design Offer Delivery services and critical initiatives.
• Develop, test, and operate Go-based real-time bidding and direct offer placement services.
• Mentor engineers, set engineering standards, and foster technical excellence on the team.
• Coordinate cross-team delivery with product, Ad Viewer, and other teams in a distributed environment.
• Ensure high availability and reliability, including on-call rotations and proactive monitoring.
